Most corporate data centers today are complex warrens of underused hardware that require more and more people, space and power to keep them going. The current economic malaise will increase the pressure on companies to become more efficient. More has to be done with less, which is Cloud Computing main promise.While the current crunch on capital clearly has many IT managers and CFO’s rethinking their investments, I believe cloud computing – purchasing your Infrastructure-as-a-Service, will make sense in any economy because of the ability to only pay for services as you use them
